Among amphibians, the Spanish painted frog, the agile frog and the alpine newt inhabit the park.

The ponds and wetlands are home to a good representation of amphibians ( Alpine newt and frog agile ).

Three species have a population of national importance : the Alpine newt, yellow-bellied toad and common frog.

Other species living here include alpine newt, Carpathian newt and moor frog . moorland clouded yellow and subarctic hawker are glacial relicts.

The valley is also a habitat for numerous amphibians and reptiles : alpine newt, palmate newt, blindworm, grass snake, and common lizard.

These include the black stork, the eagle owl, many species of bat, the red kite, the common spadefoot toad and the alpine newt.

The aquatic habitats preferred by the newts are stagnant, mid-to large-sized, unshaded water bodies with abundant Carpathian, and the alpine newt.

The amphibian alpine newts ( " Triturus Alpestris " ), living in the alpine lakes of the mountain, mostly in and around Drakolimni, are associated with local folktales of dragons and dragon battles.

The following species were observed at Morgetshofsee : Common Frog ( Rana temporaria ), Edible Frog, Agile Frog ( Rana dalmatina ), European tree frog ( Hyla arborea ), Alpine Newt ( Triturus alpestris ), Great Crested Newt ( Triturus cristatus ), Smooth Newt ( Triturus vulgaris ) and Common Toad ( Bufo bufo ).
