The basic function of the Courts is to adjudicate disputes between individuals , between individuals and the State , between the States and between the Union and the States and while so adjudicating , the Courts may be required to interpret the provisions of the Constitution and the laws . न्यायालयों के मूल कृत्य व्यक्तियों के बीच , व्यक्तियों और राज़्यों के बीच , एक राज़्य तथा दूसरे राज़्य के बीच तथा राज़्यों के बीच विवादों का न्यायनिर्णय करना है और न्यायनिर्णय करते हुए न्यायलयों के लिए संविधान तथा विधियों की व्याख़्या करना अपेक्षित हो सकता है .
