Some of the bask rules of procedure and conduct of business have been laid down in the Constitution itself . प्रक्रिया तथा कार्य-संचालन के कुछ आधारभूत नियम संविधान में ही अधिकथित हैं .

He performs these functions , in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the ' Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Lok Sabha ' . वह संविधान के उपबंधों और ? लोक सभा के प्रक्रिया तथा कार्य संचालन नियमों ? के अनुसार ही इन कृत्यों का निर्वहन करता है .

These rules are based on the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in both the Houses and have been gradually evolved from conventions and rulings given by the Presiding Officers from time to time . ये नियम दोनों सदनों के प्रक्रिया तथा कार्य संचालन नियमों पर आधारित हैं और प्रथाओं तथा पीठासीन अधिकारियों द्वारा समय-समय पर दिये गये विनिर्णयों से धीरे धीरे इनका विकास हुआ है .

Conduct of Business and Procedure Generally Each house is the master of its procedure and may make rules for regulating its procedure and conduct of business subject to the provisions of the Constitution -LRB- Art . 118 -RRB- . कार्य-संचालन तथा सामान्य प्रक्रिया प्रत्येक सदन अपनी प्रक्रिया का स्वामी है और वह संविधान के उपबंधों के अधीन रहते हुए अपनी प्रक्रिया तथा अपने कार्य-संचालन के विनियमन के लिए नियम बना सकता है ( अनच्छेद 118 )

The validity of any proceedings in Parliament cannot be questioned in a court of law on grounds of any alleged irregularity of procedure and no officer or member of Parliament is subject to jurisdiction of courts in respect of exercise of any powers in the matter of regulating procedure or conduct of business in Parliament -LRB- article 122 -RRB- . संसद की किसी कार्यवाही की विधिमान्यता की प्रक्रिया को किसी अभिकथित अनियमितता के आधार पर चुनौती नहीं दी जा सकती और संसद का कोई अधिकारी या सदस्य संसद में प्रक्रिया-विनियमन अथवा कार्य-संचालन के मामले में किसी शक्ति के प्रयोग के लिए न्यायालयों की अधिकारिता के अधीन नहीं होगा ( अनुच्छेद 122 ) .

There is no effect on the business pending before the House on adjournment of House sine die but as per Rule 335 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Lok Sabha , on the prorogation of the House , all pending notices , other than notices of intention to move for leave to introduce Bills , lapse , and fresh notices have to be given for the next session . सदन के अनिश्चित काल के लिए स्थगित होने पर उसके समक्ष लंबित किसी कार्य पर कोई प्रभाव नहीं पड़ता , परंतु लोक सभा के प्रक्रिया तथा कार्य संचालन संबंधी नियमों के नियम 335 के अनुसार , सदन का सत्रावसान हो जाने पर , विधेयक पेश करने की अनुमति के लिए प्रस्ताव की सूचनाओं के सिवाय अन्य सब लंबित सूचनाएं व्ययगत हो जाती हैं और आगामी अधिवेशन के लिए नये सिरे से सूचनाएं देनी पड़ती हैं .
