After he or she has been designated as senior advocate , an advocate is not expected to act , that is , file Vakalatnamas draft pleadings but is expected to appear in the court along with and assisted by other advocates . ज़्येष्ठ अधिवक़्ता के रूप में अभिहित हो जाने पर अधिवक़्ता से स्वयं कार्य करने अर्थात वकालतनामा फाइल करने , अभिवचन तैयार करने आदि की आशा नहीं की जाती.बल्कि यह अपेक्षा की जाती है कि वह अन्य अधिवक़्ताओं के साथ और उनकी सहायता लेते हुए न्यायालय में उपस्थित होगा .
