This chapter reviews the fortunes of the industries , which may be described as ' traditional ' in the sense that they have a fairly long history and were well established when the First Five-Year Plan was launched . The foundation inscription is interesting in that it defines the type of stone used as krishna-sila -LCB- blackstone -RRB- , gives an account of the angas or parts of the vimana by which it was embellished , and also the name of the architect-designer . इसका संस्थापना शिलालेख इस अर्थ में रूचिकर है कि यह निर्माण में प्रयुक़्त पत्थर को कृष्ण शिला के रूप में परिभाषित करता है तथा विमान के उन अंगों का विवरण देता है , जिससे विमान अलंकृत किया गया है .

The Tiruchirapalli upper rock-cut cave-temple of Lalitankura is unique in that it has a large group sculpture forming a panel on the western wall of the mandapa directly opposite the shrine and depicting Siva as Gangadhara . चिरूचिरापल्ली का ऊपरी , चट्टान में कटा ललितांकुर का गुफा मंदिर इस अर्थ में अलग है कि उसमें मंदिर कक्ष सीधे सामने मंडप की पश्चिमी दीवार पर शिलांकनों का एक बड़ा समूह एक पटल के रूप में है और उसमें शिव को गंगाधर रूप में चित्रित किया गया है .
