The process by which these pre-Cambrian ancestral forms led to their myriad descendants of today is called organic evolution . कैम्ब्रियन-पूर्व कल्प के पूर्वजों से आज के अगणित जीव जिस प्रक्रिया द्वारा उत्पन्न हुए हैं उसे क्रमिक जैव विकास अथवा जैविक उत्क्रांति1 कहा जाता है .

The remainder which you get by the division is multiplied by 12 , and the product is divided by the sum-total of the days of either kalfm or catwyuga by which we have , already once divided . भाग देने पर जो बचता है उसे 12 से गुणा किया जात है और गुणनफल को कल्प या चतुर्युग के दिनों के योग से , जिससे हम पहले भी एक बार विभाजन कर चुके हैं , विभक़्त किया जाता है .

If we subtract the revolutions of the sun , i.e . the solar cycles of a kalpa , from its lunar cycles , the remainder shows how many more lunar months a kalpa has than solar months . यदि हम सूर्य की परिक्रमाओं को अर्थात एक कल्प के सौर चक्रों को उसके चांद्र चक्रों में से घटाएं तो उनके शेष से पता चलता है कि कल्प में सौर मासों की तुलना में कितने अधिक चांद्र मास होते हैं .

All months or days which we reckon as parts of whole kalpm we call here universal , and all months or days which we reckon as parts of a kalpa e.g . of a -LRB- atunuga , we call partial , for the purpose of simplifying the terminology . सभी मासों या दिवसों को जिन्हें हम संपूर्ण कल्पों के अंग मानते हैं , हमने यहां ? सार्वदेशिक ? कहा है और उन सभी मासों और दिवसों को जिन्हें हम एक कल्प का अंग मानते हैं जैसे कि चतुर्युग तो उन्हें हमने ? आंशिक ? की संज्ञा दी है और यह केवल शब्दों के सरलीकरण के उद्देश्य से किया है .

Purusha , But as regards common time , which is determinable by motion , the single parts of it apply to beings beside the Creator , and to natural phenomena beside the soul Thus Kalpa is always used in relation to Brahman , for it is his day and night , and his life is determined by it . लेकिन जहां तक सामान्य समय का संबंध है जिसका निर्धारण गति के माध्यम से किया जाता है उसके पृथक-पृथक अंश स्रष्टा के अतिरिक़्त प्राणियों पर भी लागू होते हैं और उनका संबंध ? आत्मा ? के अलावा प्राकृतिक घटनाओं से भी होता है.इसीलिए ? कल्प ? का प्रयोग सदैव ब्रह्म के संबंध में किया गया है क़्योंकि यह उसी का दिन और रात है और उसका जीवन इसी से निर्धारित होता है .
