As he watched the clouds thicken in the sky , he was reminded of his predecessor Kalidasa who on such aday as this had written his great poem which has made immortal the love of all lovers throughout the ages whom distance has parted from their sweethearts . उन्होंने देखा कि सारा आकाश सघन बादलों से आच्छऋ है , और वे अपने पूर्ववर्ती कवि कालिदास की स्मृति में खो जाते हैं , ऋन्होंने ठीक ऐसे ही किसी दिन अपने महान छंदों की रचना की थी , ऋसने कि युर्गयुगांतर के उन समस्त प्रेमियों के प्रेम को अमर बना दाय , ऋन्हें दूरी ने अपनी प्रेयसियों से अलग कर दिया था .

Unveiling the tablet at the Central Hall of the High Court at Bombay , the then Chief Justice of Bombay , Mr M . C . Chagla , said : ” There is no honour and no distinction which I have valued more than the privilege of being able to unveil the tablet to Lokmanya Tilak 's memory this morning . बंबई उच्च न्यायालय के केंद्रीय कक्ष में इस पट्टी का अनावरण करते हुए बंबई के तत्कालीन मुख्य न्यायाधीश श्रीमान एम.सी . चागला ने कहा था : ” लोकमान्य तिलक की स्मृति में आज सुबह इस पट्टी के अनावरण का जो सौभाग्य मुझे मिला है , उसकी तुलना किसी और सम्मान या प्रतिष्ठा से नहीं की जा सकती .
