The main function of this Committee is to help the members in the use of the library and , its allied services , viz . reference , research and documentation . इस समिति का मुख्य कृत्य ग्रंथालय और उसकी सहायता सेवाओं , अर्थात् संदर्भ शोध तथा प्रलेखन सेवाओं के प्रयोग में सदस्यो की सहायता करना है .

This is done by the ministers making statements on the floor of the House , laying reports and papers on the Table of the House or placing documents in the Parliament Library . यह जानकारी मंत्रियों द्वारा सदन में वक़्तव्य देकर , प्रतिवेदन और पत्र सभा पटल पर रखकर या दस्तावेज संसद ग्रंथालय में रखकर उपलब्ध कराई जाती है .

PARLIS has been connected to NICNET and can correspond with the District Information Centres under the system ail over the country . संसदीय ग्रंथालय सूचना प्रणाली नेशनल इन्फार्मेटिक्स सेंटर नेटवर्क से जुड़ी ही है और इस प्रणाली के अंतर्गत समूचे देश में जिला सूचना केंद्रों के साथ संवादों का आदान-प्रदान किया जा सकता है .

PARLIS database is designed to cater to instant reference needs of the members of Parliament , officers of Parliament , Committees , the research and reference personnel and other staff . संसद ग्रंथालय सूचना प्रणाली का डैटाबेस संसद सदस्यों , संसद के अधिकारियों , समितियों , अनुसंधान तथा संदर्भ कर्मिकों और अन्य कर्मचारियों की तात्कालिक संदर्भ आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने के लिए अभिकल्पित किया गया है .

Library Committee : The Library Committee which is a joint committee of the two Houses consists of six members of Lok Sabha -LRB- including the Deputy Speaker -RRB- nominated by the Speaker and three members of the Rajya Sabha nominated by its Chairman . ग्रंथालय समिति : यह समिति दोनों सदनों की संयुक्त समिति है जिसमें लोक सभा के 6 सदस्य हैं ( उपाध्यक्ष सहित ) जो अध्यक्ष द्वारा मनोनीत किए जाते हैं और राज्य सभा के 3 सदस्य हैं जो उसके सभापति द्वारा मनोनीत किए जाते हैं .

Facilities provided to the Press in Parliament include those of a press gallery , press rooms , supply of parliamentary papers and press releases , access of lobbies and Central Hall , use of library and reference services , etc . संसद में प्रेस को प्रदान की गई सुविधाओं में प्रस दीर्घा , प्रेस कक्षों , संसदीय पत्रों तथा जारी की गई प्रेस विज्ञप्तियों की सप्लाई , लाबियों तथा केंद्रीय कक्ष में आने जाने , ग्रंथालय तथा संदर्भ सेवाओं आदि का उपयोग करने की सुविधाएं सम्मिलित हैं .
