Curvature or distortion : very few distortion can be straightened fully, instead majority of the penises have a distortion which can be in any direction(upward, downward, sideways). वक्रता या टेढ़ापन: बहुत कम टेढ़ापन ही पूरी तरह से सीधे होते हैं जबकि अधिकतर शिश्नों मे वक्रता होती है जो किसी भी दिशा (ऊपर नीचे दाएं बाएं) मे हो सकती है।

Curvature of up to 30 degree is normal and when it is more than 45 degree then only medical intervention required. Some times penile curvature occurs due to Peyronie's disease. 30° तक की वक्रता सामान्य होती है और चिकित्सा उपचार की जरूरत तब ही पड़ती है जब यह 45° से अधिक होती है. कभी कभी पियरॉनी रोग के कारण भी शिश्न मे टेढ़ापन हो सकता है।
