The strategy proposed for realising the sizeable additional capacity comprised the setting up of eight 1-million-tonne modem plants based on pre-calcination technology , location of slag cement units near steel plants , location of clinker capacity in the sourthem-central regions , location of clinker capacity based on the introduction of pre-calcinated technology in some of the existing cement plants and setting up of mini cement plants . भरपूर अतिरिक़्त क्षमता प्राप्त करने के लिये जो योजना सुझायी गयी उसमें था , इस लाख टन के पूर्व भस्मीकरण टेक़्नोलौजी पर आधारित आठ आधुनिक संयंत्रों की स्थापना , पिछड़ी सीमेंट इकाइयों की इस्पात संयंत्रों के समीप स्थापना , दक्षिणी केन्द्रीय क्षेत्रों में खंगर इकाइयों की स्थापना , कुछ वर्तमान सीमेंट संयंत्रों में पूर्व भस्मीकरण टेक़्नोलौजी पर आधारित खंगर क्षमता की स्थापना तथा छोटे सीमेंट सीमेंट संयंत्रों की स्थापना .
