Even after him Magadha continued to be the capital of a big empire till Pushyamitra Sunga defeated the last Maurya ruler -LRB- 183 BC -RRB- and established the Sunga dynasty . उसके बाद भी मगध , बड़े साम्राज़्य की राजधानी तब तक बना रहा , जब तक कि पुष्प मित्र सुंग ने अंतिम मौर्य शासक को पराजित नहीं किया ( 183 ई . पू . ) और सुंग वंश की स्थापना की .

For she had performed Sanlekhana-death by invitation . ईश्वरीय आमंत्रण पर मौत का आलिंगन ग्वालियरः 48 वर्षीया एकत्मवती ने दम तोड़ तो उनका शव कमल पुष्प की आकृति में रखने के बाद पालकी में सजाकर विशाल शोभायात्रा में दाह स्थल पर ले जाया गया क्योंकि उन्होंने संलेघ्ना-ईश्वरीय आमंत्रण पर मौत-का आलिंगन किया था .

The characteristic kumbha panjara in the wall-recesses between pilasters is rendered highly ornate , as also the pushpa potika corbel of the capitals over the pillars and polygonal pilasters , with the pendent bud at the tip of the curved arm taking the shape of a full lotus bud . भित्तिस्तंभों के बीच दीवार के अतंरालों में विशिष्ट कुभं पंजर अत्यधिक अलंकृत बनाए गए हैं.इसी प्रकार स्तंभों और बहुभुज भित्तिस्तभों के ऊपर शीर्ष की पुष्प पोतिका भी हैं , जो वक्र भुजा के छोर पर एक पूर्ण कमल कलिका का रूप लेती लटकती कली से युक़्त है .
