Strength comes not from occasional exhibitions of individual or group violence but from mass organisation and the capacity for mass action , which , to be effective in India , must be peaceful action . ताकत उन प्रदर्शनों से नहीं हासिल होती , जो कोई एक व्यक़्ति या गुट कभी कभी करता है , बल्कि यह तो जनसंगठन और जनता की कार्रवाई करने की क्षमता पर निर्भर करती है और हिंदुस्तान में कोई कार्रवाई असरदार हो , इसके लिए उसे शांतिपूर्ण होना बहुत जरूरी है .

He had been told by his parents and grandparents that he must fall in love and really know a person before becoming committed . और यह कि बिना शब्दों की जरूरत के उस स्त्री को भी यही लगा था । दुनिया की किसी चीज पर यकीन से ज्यादा उसे इस अहसास पर यकीन था । उसके माता - पिता , दादा - दादी ने उसे बताया था कि प्रेम तो जरूर करना चाहिए , लेकिन वचन देने से पहले दूसरे को समझ लेना बहुत जरूरी है ।

But even when we go to the regions beyond the reach of the scientific method and visit the mountain tops where philosophy dwells and high emotions fill us , or gaze at the immensity beyond , that approach and temper are still necessary . लेकिन जब हम ऐसे क्षेत्र में पहुंच जायें , जो वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण से परे हो और पर्वत के शिखरों पर पहुंच जायें , जहां दर्शन का राज़्य है और जिन्हें देख कर हमारे मन में तरह तरह की कल्पनाएं होने लगें या जिनके पीछे का विशाल भूभाग देख हम ठिठके से रह जाये , वह दृष्टिकोण और भाव भी बहुत जरूरी है .

Subhas defended his amendment saying that the main resolution amounted to lowering of the flag of independence raised the previous year at the Madras Congress and that a declaration on full and complete independence was necessary to create a new mentality and new consciousness among the countrymen and particularly the new generation . अपने संशोधन के पक्ष में दलील देते हुए सुभाष ने कहा कि मुख़्य प्रस्ताव का तात्पर्य होता है गये साल , मद्रास कांग्रेस में लहराये गये आजादी के झंडे को झुका लेना ; और आगे कहा कि देशवासियों , विशेषतया नयी पीढ़ी में , नयी मानसिकता तथा नयी चेतना जगाने के लिए संपूर्ण स्वाधीनता की घोषणा बहुत जरूरी है .
