According to the treaty at that time(1814) between Nepal and British 2/3 of the Nepali region was given to British India which are the parts of Indian states Himachal Pradesh, Uttharakhand and West Bengal अंग्रेज़ों के साथ हुई सन्धियों में नेपाल को उस समय (१८१४) के दो तिहाई नेपाली क्षेत्र ब्रिटिश इंडिया को देने पड़े जो आज भी भारतीय राज्य हिमाचल प्रदेश उत्तराखण्ड तथा पश्चिम बंगाल के अंश हैं ।
