We have seen that Badruddin had learnt to admire and respect those women he had met in England who were well-educated and were accustomed to meeting and dealing with men on equal terms . हम देख चुके हैं कि बदरूद्दीन ने इंग़्लैंड में उनसे परिचित उन महिलाओं की मन से प्रशंसा और सम्मान करना सीख लिया था जो सुशिक्षित थीं और पुरूषों से बराबरी के साथ मिलने और बरताव करने की आदी थीं .

The greatest gift for an individual or a nation , so we had been told in our ancient books , was abhaya -LRB- fearlessness -RRB- , not merely bodily courage but the absence of fear from the mind . जैसा कि हमारे शास्त्र वगैरह बताते हैं , इंसान हो या चाहे कोई मुल्क , उसे जो सबसे बड़ी नियामZZत मिली हुई है वह है अभय ( निर्भयता ) . यह सिर्फ हिम्मत का होना नहीं है , बल्कि हमारे मन से डर की भावना का पूरी तरह से निकल जाना है .

During his ten years in the Andaman Jail from 1911 to 1921 , Vinayak composed poems , spread literacy among the prisoners and dispelled superstitions from the minds of many Hindu convicts , reconverting them to the Hindu fold . सन् 1911 से 1921 तक अंडमान में अपने कारावास के दस सालों के दौरान विनायक ने कविताएं लिखी , कैदियों में शिक्षा का प्रसार किया और हिंदू कैदियों के मन से अंधविश्वासों को हटाकर उन्हें वापिस हिंदू धर्म की और उन्मूख किया .

But it should be clearly understood that only such elements of these different cultures are considered to be part of the common national culture as can be incorporated so harmo- niously with the collective mind of the people that all sections and communities regard them as their own . किंतु यह सप्ष्ट समझ लेना चाहिए कि इन विभिन्न संस्कृतियों के केवल वे ही तत्व आम राष्ट्रीय संस्कृति के अंग माने जाते है , जिन्हें ऐसी सदभावना के साथ लोगों के सामूहिक मन से जोड़ा जा सके कि सभी वर्ग और सामूहिक अवस्था को राष्ट्रीय संस्कृति कहा जाता है .
