If it was really so , it would have been a great discovery for this country but subsequent research did not establish this . यदि यह बात सच हो तो इस देश की आबादी की समस्या का हल निकल सकता था किंतु इस संबंध में बाद को किए गए अनुसंधानों में इस बात की पुष्टि नहीं हो सकी .

Before any serious catastrophe occurs , the pesticide problem has to be tackled on a war-footing , as India is the largest producer and user of pesticides in South Asia . इससे पहले कि कोई गंभीर दुर्घटना घटे हमें युद्ध स्तर पर पीड़कनाशियों की समस्या का हल ढूंढ़ना होगा , क्योंकि पूरे दक्षिण-एशिया में भारत पीड़कनाशियों का सबसे बड़ा उत्पादक और प्रयोगकर्ता है .

As the American columnist Dennis Prager sums them up, “It is difficult to imagine any other future scenario for Western Europe than its becoming Islamicized or having a civil war.” Indeed, these two deeply unattractive alternative paths appear to define Europe's choices, with powerful forces pulling in the contrary directions of Muslims taking over or Muslims rejected, Europe an extension of North Africa or in a state of quasi-civil war. Which will it be? The decisive events that will resolve this question have yet to take place, so one cannot yet make the call. Decision-time is fast approaching, however. Within the next decade or so, today's flux will end, the Europe-Islam equation will harden, and the continent's future course should become apparent. परन्तु इस बात की अधिक सम्भावना है कि मुसलमानों के साथ इस समस्या का हल शान्तिपूर्ण ढ़ंग से हो जायेगा और विशेषकर यह देखते हुये कि हाल के आतंकवाद और डराने क्रम में शुरूआत किसकी ओर से हुई है। अनेक जनमत सर्वेक्षणों से स्पष्ट है कि ब्रिटेन के 5 प्रतिशत मुसलमान 7 जुलाई को हुये बम विस्फोट को न्यायसंगत मानते हैं। यदि यह घटित होता है तो इसी मात्रा में यूरोप से उत्तर की अपेक्षा नहीं की जा सकती।

Appropriate response? “Just as we respond to community safety issues [such as gang violence, school shootings, drugs, and hate crimes] through partnerships and networks of government officials, Mayor's offices, law enforcement, community organizations, and private sector actors, so must we address radicalization to violence and terrorist recruitment through similar relationships and by leveraging some of the same tools and solutions.” यथोचित प्रतिक्रिया ? “ जिस प्रकार कि हम समुदायों की सुरक्षा के विषयों में प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त करते हैं (जैसे गुटों की हिंसा में, विद्यालयों में गोलीकाण्ड में, मादक पदार्थ अपराध में और घृणा से जुडे अपराधों में) और सरकारी अधिकारियों के साथ तालमेल बिठाकर , मेयर के कार्यालय से तालमेल स्थापित कर, कानून प्रवर्तन द्वारा, समुदायों को संगठित कर, निजी क्षेत्रों के लोगों की सेवायें लेकर उसी प्रकार हमें हिंसा के कट्टरपंथ और आतंकवाद भर्ती पर भी सम्बन्धों के द्वारा और कुछ पुराने औजार और समाधान से इस समस्या का हल करना चाहिये”।
