But strangely enough most of our reformers regard industrial progress as the only way of removing poverty and disease and a necessary step to raising the moral and spiritual level of society . Yet they hope to prevent any fundamental change in the social system and avoid the dangers to which we have referred . किंतु काफी आश्चर्य की बाता यह है , कि इनमें से अधिकांश समाज सुधारक औद्यौगिक विकास को गरीबी और बीमारियां हटाने का एकमात्र रास्ता तथा समाज व्यवस्था में किसी भी बुनियादी परिवर्तन को रोकने की आशा करते हैं और उन खतरों से बचते है जिनका उल्लेख किया गया है .
