The report further stated the Office of Inspector General had presented their findings to the Fraud and Public Corruption Unit of the U . S . Attorney's Office for Washington, DC for criminal prosecution, but that the U . S . Attorney's Office declined to prosecute the case and the matter was referred back to NPS for administrative adjudication.
