In addition, the squadron provides aircraft maintenance and munitions support to Red Flag-Alaska ( previously Cope Thunder ), transient, and special mission aircraft operating at Eielson AFB . In this squadron are the command staff, avionics, propulsion, accessory maintenance, armament, fabrication, aerospace ground equipment, munitions maintenance and support personnel who are also tasked to deploy and support aerospace power anytime and anywhere.
