The work had to be abandoned under the orders of the Government of India , and the issue whether or not the road should be constructed within the area of the Jarawas was debated upon for about five years at various forums of social scientists , anthropologists , the Andaman Administration and various ministries of the Government of India . आगे का काम भारत सरकार के आदेश से रोक देना पड़ा तथा लगभग पांच वर्ष तक यह मामला समाज शास्त्रियों , मानव शास्त्रियों , अंडमान प्रशासन तथा भारत सरकार के विभिन्न मंत्रालयों के बीच विशेष चर्चा का विषय बना रहा .
