While intermarriage between natives and survivors is indeed quite plausible ( though AFAIK, no DNA tests have proven this yet as of 2012 ), that does not mean that it's the cause of blondism, as it's also present elsewhere where there are no wrecked European ships, much less shipwrecked Europeans.
