Rearming at Sasebo and once more joining TF 77 off the coast of Korea soon thereafter, " Wisconsin " resumed support at the " bombline " on 23 January.

"Wisconsin " continued her naval gunfire support duties on the " bombline, " shelling enemy bunkers, command posts, artillery positions, and trench systems through 14 December.

"Wisconsin " returned to the " bombline " on 11 January, and over the ensuing days delivered heavy gunfire support for the 1st Marine Division and the 1st ROK Corps.

That same day, the battleship returned to the " bombline " and shelled the command post and communications center for the 15th North Korean Division during call-fire missions for the 1st Marine Division.

In this case the navigators would receive the equi-signal over a wide area, and navigation along the bombline became impossible, with the aircraft drifting into the " dash area " and no way to correct for it.

She made an overnight port call at Sasebo on the 29th and 30th, visited the Bonin Islands from 2 through 4 October, and stopped at Yokosuka on the 5th and 6th, before taking up station on the bombline once more on the 8th.

After disembarking Admiral Denebrink on 3 December at Kangnung, the battleship resumed station on the Korean " bombline ", providing gunfire support for the American 1st Marine Division . " Wisconsin " s shelling accounted for a tank, two gun emplacements, and a building.

Between 23 February and 19 March, she operated with TF 77 off the coast of Korea and made three shore bombardments; one off Yong-do on 28 February with heavy cruiser; one at the bombline on 5 March; and one off Singchong-Ni on 11 March with the cruiser.

At least ten enemy guns were destroyed, many damaged, and a number of caves and tunnels sealed . " New Jersey " smashed radar control positions and bridges at Kojo 13 July, and was once more on the east coast bombline 22 July 24 July to support South Korean troops near Kosong.
