It is noteworthy , that the substitute motion also seeks to bring before the House a different proposition as an alternative to the original question but is distinct from an amendment inasmuch as it replaces the entire motion . , यह ध्यान देने की बात है कि स्थानापन्न प्रस्ताव का प्रयोजन भी मूल प्रश्न के विकल्प के रूप में एक भिन्न प्रस्ताव सदन के समक्ष लाना है परंतु वह संशोधन से इस कारण भिन्न है कि वह समूचे प्रस्ताव Zको ही बदल देता है .

During the Seventh Lok Sabha , for example , out of 5762 notices of adjournment motion received , only 149 were brought before the House and finally only 24 of them could be admitted and discussed , and none of them was adopted , In the Eighth Lok Sabha , notices of 1801 adjournment motions were received . उदाहरणार्थ सातवीं लोक सभा की कार्यावधि के दौरान प्राप्त हुई स्थगन प्रस्तावों की 5762 सूचनाओं में से केवल 149 सूचनाएं सदन के समक्ष लाई गईं ओर अंत में उनमें से केवल 24 सूचनाएं गृहीत हो सकीं और उन पर चर्चा हो सकी और उनमें से कोई भी प्रस्ताव स्वीकृत नहीं हुआ .

End of the term - On the advice of the Council of Ministers, the President ends the term, in this one term of the Parliament ends and Parliment can begin its second term only when the President issues summons for the session, in the condition of the end of the term, no long term issues can be brought before the Parliament. सत्रावसान - मंत्रिपरिषद की सलाह पे सदनॉ का सत्रावसान राष्ट्रपति करता है इसमे संसद का एक सत्र समाप्त हो जाता है तथा संसद दुबारा तभी सत्र कर सकती है जब राष्ट्रपति सत्रांरभ का सम्मन जारी कर दे सत्रावसान की दशा मे संसद के समक्ष लम्बित कार्य समाप्त नही हो जाते है

Dissolution of Lok Sabha- The Prsident with the consent of council of ministers can dissolve the Lok Sabha. After that general election takes place. Yhis ends all the pending work that was before Lok sabha but those bill that was forwarded to rajya sabha does not ends. The case which are brought before The President also does not end or the President can call for a dissolution meeting with all the members. लोकसभा का विघटन- राष्ट्रपति द्वारा मंत्रि परिष्द की सलाह पर किया है इससे लोकसभा का जीवन समाप्त हो जाता है इसके बाद आमचुनाव ही होते है विघटन के बाद सभी लंबित कार्य जो लोकसभा के समक्ष होते है समाप्त हो जाते है किंतु बिल जो राज्यसभा मे लाये गये हो और वही लंबित होते है समाप्त न्ही होते या या बिल जो राष्ट्रपति के सामने विचाराधीन हो वे भी समापत नही होते है या राष्ट्रपति संसद के दोनॉ सदनॉ की लोकसभा विघटन से पूर्व संयुक्त बैठक बुला ले
