"It's almost as if ( in Prader-Willi patients ) this part of the brain that controls eating is turned off in the first couple of years, " says Merlin Butler, a cytogeneticist and pediatrician at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.

His graduate studies were completed in Botany ( 1959 ) following which he obtained masters ( 1964 ) His career started at his alma mater, the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, as a cytogeneticist in 1968, a post he held till 1976 when he was promoted as the Senior Scientist.

Dr . Zago graduated in Medicine from the School of Medicine of Ribeir�o Preto of the University of S�o Paulo in 1970, where he received the M . Sc . degree in medicine ( 1973 ) and the Ph . D . degree ( 1975 ), under the supervision of Professor C�ssio Bottura, one of the most outstanding Brazilian hematologist and cytogeneticist.
