From this we could see that Surdas was a great poet of Hindi literature because he did not decorate his literary works just with emotions and language alone but created a special tradition of Krishna-poetic drama इस प्रकार हम देखते हैं कि सूरदास हिंदी साहित्य के महाकवि हैं क्योंकि उन्होंने न केवल भाव और भाषा की दृष्टि से साहित्य को सुसज्जित किया वरन् कृष्ण-काव्य की विशिष्ट परंपरा को भी जन्म दिया है।
