Originally , article 19 -LRB- l -RRB- -LRB- f -RRB- and article 31 contained the right to property i.e . to acquire , hold and dispose of property subject to the right of the State to compulsory acquisition for public purpose by authority of law . मूलतया अनुच्छेद 19 ( 1 ) ( च ) तथा अनुच्छेद 31 में राज्य के विधि के प्राधिकार से लोक प्रयोजन के लिए अनिवार्य अर्जन के अधिकार के अधीन रहते हुए संपत्ति का अधिकार अर्थात संपत्ति अर्जित करने , धारण करने और बेचने का अधिकार समाविष्ट था .

The executive power of the Union and of each State shall extend to carrying on any trade or business and to acquire , hold or dispose of property and make contracts subject to any law made by the respective legislature -LRB- article 298 -RRB- . संघ की तथा प्रत्येक राज्य की कार्यपालिका-शक्ति का विस्तार व्यापार या कारोबार करने और संपत्ति का अर्जन , धारण और व्ययन तथा संविदा करने पर भी होगा परंतु वह संबद्ध राज्य विधानमंडल द्वारा बनाई गई विधि के अधीन होगा ( अनुच्छेद 298 ) .
