Regular screening of complications will facilitate their early effective management . इस बात को अधिक से अधिक मान्यता मिल रही है कि शरीर के बीच के हिस्से के मोटापे ( कमर व कूल्हों के अनुपात में वृद्धि ) , रक़्त इंसुलिन उच्चता ( हाइपर इंसुलिनिया ) , रक़्त उच्चयता ट्राइग्लिसराइड्स उच्चयता ( हाइपर ट्राइग्लिसराइडिमिया ) तथा ह्दयघात-आपस में एक दूसरे से संबंधित हैं.सर्वाधिक महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि अच्छे स्वास्थ्य के लिए , लोगों को अपनी जीवनशैली बदलनी होगी.भोजन की उचित मात्रा व उसका सही प्रकार , नियमित शारीरिक व्यायाम तथा धूम्रपान से दूर रहना आवश्यक है ताकि हम इसी नयी संस्कृति से बचे रह सकें जो चयापचयी और अपकर्षक रोगों को बढ़ा रही हैं .
