Two of the three paintings that Levy saw in her studio that day, " Birthday " and " Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, " are once again hanging side by side in " Surrealism : Desire Unbound " at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and on a recent afternoon Tanning headed out to see the show.
