A 1998 report of the FAO distinguished between hydromorphic / phreatic dambos ( associated with headwaters ) and fluvial dambos ( associated with rivers ), and also referred to five geomorphological types in Zambia s Luapula Province : " upland ", " valley ", " hanging ", " sand dune " and " pan " dambos.
