Flagship course of the academy is its Sixteen month long Induction Course for the fresh recruits into the Indian Revenue Service . The Induction training is divided into two modules and after completion of each module there would be departmental examination conducted.

The induction course will be a key component of the first-year experience introducing students to university learning, while the capstone course will allow students to synthesize their academic skills beyond the limits of the major programme, engage with a real-life issue of relevance to society, analyze the factors, constraints and options, and present their findings in a cogent, reasoned and persuasive manner.
