Amongst the typical species of the Brocken that are rarely if ever found elsewhere in North Germany and which occur above about are the variant of the alpine clubmoss ( " Diphasiastrum alpinum " ), the lichens, Iceland moss ( " Cetraria islandica " ) and reindeer lichen ( " Cladonia rangiferina " ).

In some areas, grain was made to go further using Dulse ( " Palmaria palmata "; ), Iceland Moss ( " Cetraria islandica "; IS : fjallagr�s ) or Irish Moss ( " Chondrus crispus "; ) in compotes and breads, or by flattening the dough so thin that the bread became almost transparent.

In the series " Libri liturgici provinciae Nidrosiensis medii aevi " she published volume two, " Ordo Nidrosiensis Ecclesiae ( Or�ub�k ) " in 1968, and volume three, " Antiphonarium Nidrosiensis Ecclesiae " in 1979 . Her two-volume " Liturgica Islandica " from 1980 constitutes the volumes 35 and 36 of " Bibliotheca Arnamagnaeana ".
