Peik Herfeh's expertise, research interests, and ( Persian, English, and Russian ) publications are focused in the areas of normative ethics; applied / practical ethics; comparative analyses between pre-Islamic Persian ancient teachings in Mithraism, Zoroastrianism, Manicheism, and Mazdakism and western philosophies and philosophers; comparative analyses between Islamic ethics and jurisprudence and western ethics; and comparative analyses between the main after-Islamic Iranian philosophical traditions esp . the Peripatetic School, the Illumination School and the Transcendent Philosophy-and western philosophies and philosophers.
