Following this initial release, Tones and Cartwright spent the next two years compiling their debut album'A Small Murmuration', which was released on London nightclub Fabric's record label Houndstooth in 2013.

Hart has an active involvement with large-scale citizen science projects that include the " Flying Ant " survey, the " Spider in da House " survey and app and the " Starling Murmuration " survey with the Royal Society of Biology.

He has appeared on two CDs by High Mountain Tempel, " The Glass Bead Game " and " Pilgrimage to Thunderbolt Pagoda ", " Circuit Blasting " by Strange Attractor vs Disinformation and " Murmurations " by Urthona and the Asterism.

He published three books of poetry before his death : " Murder Ballads ", which won the 2005 Elixir Prize in Poetry; " A Murmuration of Starlings ", which won the 2008 Colorado Book Award in Poetry; and " Persons Unknown, " an editor's selection in the Crab Orchard Series in Poetry.

In October 2011, Gilbert's short story " Sliding Off the World ", first released as a spoken-word piece set to atmospheric noise on the CD " Touch 25 " in June 2006, was published in the anthology " Murmurations " by Nicholas Royle ( Two Ravens Press, ISBN 978-1-906120-59-7 ).
