But even richer was the intimacy he thus gained with the actual life of the common people , their daily drudgery and constant struggle against the indifference of nature and the worse indifference of a rigid social orthodoxy and of an alien political rule . लेकिन इससे भी उपयोगी चीज थी वह अंतरंगता , जो उन्होंने उस सामान्य जन के यथार्थ जीवन से मिलकर प्राप्त की- जो प्रकृति की उदासीनता के चलते निरंतर संघर्ष और दिनचर्या की एकरसता या ऊब तथा कठोर सामाजिक रूढ़ियों से ग्रस्त एवं विदेशी राजनैतिक शासन के घोर शिकार थे .

To forward this wrong-headed idea, an organization called the Conflicts Forum was founded in December 2004. It has the immodest goal of not just changing policy toward radical Islamic terrorist groups, but changing how Westerners see radical Islam itself. Conflicts Forum wants to challenge “the prevailing western orthodoxy that perceives Islamism as an ideology that is hostile to the agenda for global democracy and good governance.” इस गलत विचार को आगे बढ़ाने के लिये दिसम्बर 2004 में Conflicts Forum की स्थापना हुई. इसका उद्देश्य न केवल कट्टरपंथी इस्लामी आतंकवादी गुटों के प्रति योजना मे परिवर्तन कराना है वरन् कट्टरपंथी इस्लाम के प्रति पश्चिम के दृष्टिकोण में परिवर्तन कराना है. Conflicts forum पश्चिम में पनप रहे इस परम्परागत विचार को चुनौती देना चाहता है कि इस्लामवाद एक ऐसी विचारधारा है जो वैश्विक लोकतन्त्र और अच्छे प्रशासन की शत्रु है.
