This is obviously an anti-national attitude . Even from the narrow communal point of view it is difficult to see its wisdom , for communal advantages can only be given at the expense of another community , and when both seek the favours of the ruling power , there is little chance of obtaining even a superficial advantage . Bhaiji 's argument , repeatedly stated , is that the British Government is so strongly entrenched in India that it cannot be shaken by any popular movement and therefore it is folly to try to do so . अगर इस कथन पर सांप्रदायिकता की संकीर्ण दृषऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-टि से भी देखा जाये , तब भी इसमें कोऋ भलाऋ नहीं दिखती कऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-योंकि किसी एक संप्रदाय को कोऋ लाभ दूसरे संप्रदाय के हित की अनदेखी करके ही दिया जा सकता है और अगर दोनों ही संप्रदाय सरकार की मेहरबानी चाहें , तब इस बात की गुंजाइश कम ही रहती है कि दोनों संप्रदाय के लोगों को थोडऋआ-सा भी लाभ पहुंचेगा . भाऋजी अपनी ऋस दलील को बार बार दुहराते हैं , वह यह कि ब्रिटिश हुकूमत हिंदुसऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-तान में इतनी मजबूती के साथ जमी हुऋ है कि जनता का कोऋ भी आंदोलन उसे डिगा नहीं सकता .
