These precipitates occupy the interlamellar space obstructing the movement of gill filaments and respiration . गलफड़ों की पटालिकाओं के बीच के स्थान में मौजूद ये अवक्षेप गलफड़ों के तंतुओं के हिलने-डुलने और श्वसन में बाधा डालते हैं .
