Angul airport runway has been designed with rigid pavement 1260 M X 30 M with PCN 32 equipped with PAPI for day operations . 1 Hangar is available to accommodate large aircraft having wing span up to 29 M . Highly professional engineers are now planning extension of Angul Runway up to length 1600 M so as to facilitate operations of higher category aircraft . There is also work going on for the installation of DVOR as a navigational aid at Angul.
