The church has a particularly fine interior, including a finely crafted altar, scissor truss roof, choir gallery and leadlight windows.

In order to keep the partially completed legs steady, a scissors truss was placed between them at, later removed as the derricks were taken down.

The dining room extends to the south of the lobby, with log scissors trusses supporting a more shallowly-pitched roof at right angles to the lobby roof.

Most of the internal finishes of the building are silky oak, including the varnished v-jointed tongue-and-groove boards lining the walls and raked ceiling; the timber scissor trusses of the roof framing, which are exposed internally; the arch of the sanctuary; and the altar rails.

There are grand spaces, for sure-- the Great Lounge, with its walk-in fireplaces and two-story banks of windows; the Dining Room, with its 34-foot ceiling peak, supported by scissor trusses of massive sugar pine logs ( the only place in the hotel where wood is used liberally ).
