(5) Concubinage, forced labor, indentured servitude, slavery - these deep problems are nowhere near being addressed in the Gulf region, much less solved. Indeed, one prominent Saudi theologian has gone so far as to state that “Slavery is a part of Islam” and whoever says it should be abolished “is an infidel.” So long as such attitudes can be articulated publicly, without censure, abuses are certain to continue. यह व्यवसाय समस्या का एक पहलू है जो सउदी अरब और खाड़ी देशों में फैली है .खाड़ी देशों की समस्यायें जैसे रखैल रखना , जबरन मजदूरी , अनुबंध के आधार पर घर में बंधुआ मजदूर रखना ...ऐसी समस्यायें हैं जिनपर ध्यान नहीं दिया गया है और न ही इनका समाधान किया गया है . एक सउदी धर्मशास्त्री ने तो आगे बढ़कर दासता को तो इस्लाम का अंग बताते हुए कहा कि जो भी इसे समाप्त करने की बात करता है वह काफिर है ..जब तक बिना प्रतिबंध के ऐसे विचार सामने आते रहेंगे इनका दुरुपयोग भी हमें देखने को मिलेगा .

The complicity of the militant Islamic government in Sudan has also been established. It dispatches armed militias to terrorize and subjugate non-Muslim communities in the predominantly Christian southern Sudan. This is jihad in the raw, the extending of Muslim rule. Jihad warriors torch homes and churches, loot, kill men, and capture women and children. Those slaves then face a forced march to the north, followed by beatings, hard labor, and compulsory conversion to Islam. Women and older girls also face ritual gang-rape, genital mutilation, and a life of sexual servitude. इस मामले में सूडान की उग्रवादी इस्लामी सरकार की लापरवाही पूरी तरह स्थापित हो चुकी है । यह उग्रवादियों को ईसाई बहुल दक्षिणी सूडान में आतंक फैलाने के लिये और गैर मुसलमानों को दबाने के लिये हथियार प्रदान करती है। यह जिहाद ही है ताकि मुस्लिम शासन को बढाया जा सके , जिहाद के योद्धा घरों और चर्च को को जलाते हैं , लोगों को लूटते हैं और उन्हें मौत के घाट उतार देते हैं तथा महिलाओं और बच्चों को बंधक बना लेते हैं। इन गुलामों को उत्तर की ओर जाने के लिये विवश किया जाता है और इस क्रम में उन्हें मारा जाता है, उनसे जबरन काम कराया जाता है और आवश्यक रूप से इस्लाम में धर्मान्तरित किया जाता है। महिलाओं और अधिक आयु की बालिकाओं के साथ कर्मकांडिक सामूहिक दुष्कर्म होता है , लिंग को क्षत विक्षत किया जाता है और यौन गुलाम की भाँति जीवन व्यतीत करने को विवश किया जाता है।
