The pupa is beautiful green and shiny and spotted with silvery or golden colours , and hangs head downward naked , suspended from a short silken anchorage from the underside of a leaf of the larval food plant . प्यूपा सुंदर हरा और चमकीला होता है जिस पर रजताभ या स्वर्णिम रंग की चित्तयां होती हैं.यह लार्वा खाद्य पादप की पत्ती की निचली सतह से एक छोटे रेशमी लंगर द्वारा सिर नीचे की ओर किए लटका रहता है .
