St Edmund's Church is licensed for worship in accordance with the Places of Worship Registration Act 1855 and has the registration number 42119 . It was registered for the solemnisation of marriages on 14 January 1908.

It was shown that Wright had asked, in regard to the solemnisation of the queen's accession day ( 17 Nov . ), if they would make it an holy day, and so make our queen an idol.

The solemnisation ceremony was performed by Selangor Mufti Datuk Mohd Tamyes Abd Wahid at Masjid Istana Diraja in Istana Alam Shah, Klang and were witnessed by Selangor deputy mufti Dr Anhar Opir, Imam Mohd Rasid Mahful, former deputy mufti of Selangor Datuk Abdul Majid Omar and Selangor Islamic Religious Council member Datuk Salehuddin Saidin.

Later, however, mother and daughter had a change of heart, and during the night of 6 November 1743, one month after Diderot's thirtieth birthday, the two of them were secretly married in the church of Saint-Pierre-aux-BSufs, one of the few Paris churches prepared to hold a marriage service without evidence of parental approval for the solemnisation ceremony.

During the registration, the parties must be in attendance ( except for the witnesses ) to sign the affidavit for the application at the ROMM . The bridegroom will sign the agreement for petition and application to wed and book the solemnisation date . If the interviewing Kadi is not satisfied of the needs of Islamic knowledge, he can require them to take additional classes prior to allowing them to marry.
