Subcosta developed throughout its length up to costa . The posterior basal wing cell and discoidal wing cell are fused.

The forewings are dark bronze, with short, narrow scales along the swollen base of the subcosta and radius.

There is a fuscous dot on the costa at the base and a fuscous dot on the subcosta near the base.

The forewing costa has brown checks, the subcosta is creamy-white without checks and the discal area is mouse brown.

Located after the costa is the third vein, the subcosta, which branches into two separate veins : the anterior and posterior.

The base of the subcosta is associated with the distal end of the neck of the first axillary ( see section below ).

The forewings are pale fuscous, scattered with whitish grey and with an orange scale projecting tuft on the subcosta near the base.

The forewings vary from light creamy brown to darker grey-brown, rusty brown along the subcosta, fold and in the basal half.

The forewing costal margin is suffused with buffy brown and there is an outcurved antemedial line followed by a broken ocellus in the cell at the subcosta.
