Before milking , the milker should wash his hands properly and the udder and teats should be wiped with a clean damp cloth . दुहने से पहले दुहने वाले व्यक़्ति को अपने हाथ अच्छी तरह धो लेने चाहिएं.अयन तथा थनों को साफ करके गीले कपड़े से पोंछ लेना चाहिए .

Barrel is long , deep and well rounded , legs well proportioned and squarely placed , udder of good shape with well-placed teats . इस नस्ल के पशुओं का पेट लम्बा , गहरा और अच्छा गोल , टांगे ठीक अनुपात में तथा मजबूती से लगी होती हैं.हवाना अच्छे आकार का होता है और उसमें थन ठीक तरह जमे होते हैं .

Each quarter of the udder should be inflated firmly using a cycle pump and the teats at the bottom should be tied with a clean tape to prevent the escape of air . साइकल पम्प का इस्तेमाल करके हवाने के हर भाग को अच्छी तरह फुला लिया जाना चाहिए.थनों के निचले भाग पर एक फीता बांध दिया जाना चाहिए ताकि उनमें से हवा न निकल जाये .
