At places the Ghure has to deposit a small fee at the temple of the deity , for using the Chamar . चमर के लिए कहीं-कहीं थोड़ी-बहुत फीस भी रखी होती है जिसे देवता के कोष में जमा करवा दिया जाता है .

This is a beautiful temple which have God pashupathinath as the deity and is 5km away from Kathmandu in the north-east direction. भगवान पशुपतिनाथ का यह खूबसूरत मंदिर काठमांडु से करीब 5 किमी. उत्तर-पूर्व में स्थित है।

On a large platter , some cakes made of mixed flour are placed , and carried to the deity by four men . लकड़ी की एक विशाल थाली में सत्तू बनाकर रखे जाते है.उसे चार व्यक़्ति उठाकर देवस्थान पर ले जाते है .

While none of the Siva cave-temples contain a rock-cut linga in the sanctum , the two Vishnu cave-temples have in the sanctum stucco figures of the deities now modernized . जबकि शिव गुफा मंदिरों से किसी में भी काटा गया लिंग नहीं है , दो विष्णु गुफा मंदिरों के गर्भगृहों में देवताओं की गचकारी से बनी आकृतियां हैं , जिनका अब आधुनिकीकरण हो गया है .

The only difference is that while the early examples surround hypaethral shrines which are not covered by a roof , the later malikais surround roofed shrines or vimanas containing the object of worship or the deity . अंतर केवल इतना है कि प्रारंभिक उदाहरण छतविहीन मंदिरों के हैं और बाद के उदाहरण छत वाले मंदिरों अथवा विमान सहित मंदिरों के हैं जिनमें पूजा विग्रह की स्थापना होती थी .

The belief in the second coming is so deep-rooted that locals say if the construction at the temple and the preparations to welcome back the deity ever stops , there will be disasters and the world could even come to an end . भगवान के लेटने संबंधी उमीद इतनी गहरी है कि स्थानीय लग मानते हैं कि यदि मंदिर में निर्माण कार्य और भगवान के स्वागत की तैयारियां रुकीं तो अनिष्ट और प्रलय हो जाएगा .

The pilgrims chant prayers and songs in praise of-the goddess , come to the temples , bow at the feet of the deity with their gifts , and accept the Prasad faithfully each season . देवी की विभिन्न रूपों में मनौतियां करते जातरू श्रद्धालु मां के चरणों में दंडवत-प्रणाम करते , जयकारे बोलते , भजन-कीर्तन करते , भेंट चढ़ाते चरणा-मृत तथा प्रसाद पाकर प्रसन्न होते हैं .
