Committee on Absence of Members from the Sittings of the House : The Constitution provides that if a member of either House keeps himself absent from all meetings of the House for a period of 60 days without permission , the House may declare his seat vacant . सभा की बैठकों से सदस्यो की अनुपस्थिति संबंधि समिति : संविधान में उपबंध किया गया है कि यदि दोनों सदनों में से किसी भी सदन का कोई सदस्य बिना अनुमति के सदन की सभी बैठकों से 60 दिन की अवधि तक अनुपस्थित रहे तो सदन उसका स्थान रिक्त घोषित कर सकता है .

When the office of the Chief Justice of India is vacant or when the Chief Justice is unable to perform the duties of his office due to absence , the President shall appoint an Acting Chief Justice from among the judges of the Court to perform the duties of the Chief Justice -LRB- article 126 -RRB- . जब भारत के मुख्य न्यायमूर्ति का पद रिक्त हो या जब अनुपस्थिति के कारण मुख्य न्यायमूर्ति अपने पद के कर्तव्यों का पालन करने में असमर्थ हो तो राष्ट्रपति न्यायालय के अन्य न्यायाधीशों में से एक कार्यकारी मुख्य न्यायमूर्ति नियुक्त करेगा और वह मुख्य न्यायमूर्ति के कर्तव्यों का पालन करेगा ( अनुच्छेद 126 ) .

The functions of the Committee are -LRB- i -RRB- to consider all applications from members for leave of absence from the sittings of the House ; and -LRB- ii -RRB- to examine every case where a member has been absent for a period of 60 days or more , without permission , from the sittings of the House and to report whether the absence should be condoned or circumstances of the case justify that the House should declare the seat of the member vacant . इस समिति के कृत्य इस प्रकार हैं : ( एक ) सदन में की बैठकों से अनुपस्थिति की अनुमति के लिए सदस्यों से प्राप्त सभी प्रार्थनापत्रों पर विचार करना , और ( दो ) ऐसे प्रत्येक मामले की जांच करना जहां कोई सदस्य सदन की बैठकों से , बिना अनुमति के , 60 दिन या इससे अधिक अवधि तक अनुपस्थित रहा हो और इस बारे में प्रतिवेदन देना कि क्या अनुपस्थिति माफ की जानी चाहिए या नहीं अथवा मामले की परिस्थितियों को देखते हुए उचित है कि सदन सदस्य का स्थान रिक्त घोषित करे .
