Brandon Mayfield : the FBI had fifteen fingerprints that it thought might match the one sent from Spain and connected to the bombings there on March 11, 2004. Abdallah Higazy : suspected with owning an air-to-ground transceiver found in a hotel across the street from the fallen World Trade Center, he was detained for a month before a pilot claimed the transceiver. अयूब अली खान और जवीद अजमथ नामक दो भारतीय मुसलमानों को 12 सितंबर को उस समय गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया जब वे ट्रेन में चढ़ रहे थे . उनके पास 5 हजार डॉलर मिले साथ ही हेयर डाई और बॉक्स कटर मिला. उन्हें 11 सितंबर की घटना का संदेही मानकर 1 वर्ष के लिए हिरासत में ले लिया गया . छूटने के तत्काल बाद दावा किया गया कि उनकी रुपरेखा तैयार हो गई है. यह तो स्वत; स्पष्ट है कि वे दोनों मुसलमान नहीं होते तो पुलिस को उनमें और बॉक्स कटर में बहुत कम रुचि होती.
