Among these ideas and images may be those of rites and ceremonial , of sacred books , of a community of people , of certain dogmas , of morals , reverence , love , fear , hatred , charity , sacrifice , asceticism , fasting , feasting , prayer , ancient history , marriage , death , the next world , of riots and the breaking of heads , and so on . शब्द सुनकर हमारे मन में कर्मकांडों और रीति-रिवाजों , धर्म ग्रंथों , मनुष्यों के एक खास समुदाय , कुछ खास मतों , नैतिक आदर्शों , श्रद्धा , प्रेम , भय , घृणा , दया , त्याग , तपस्या , उपवास , भोज कराने , प्रार्थना , प्राचीन इतिहास , विवाह , मृत्यु , परलोक , लड़ाई-झगड़े और सिर फुटौवल वगैरह के दृश्य या भाव पैदा होते हैं .

Since it is forbidden to eat the remains of a meal , every single man must have his own food for himself ; for if any one of the party who are eating should take of the food from one and the same plate , that which remains in the plate becomes , after the first eater has taken part , to him who wants to take as the second , the remains of the meal , and such is forbidden . क़्योंकि जूठन खाना वर्जित माना गया है इसलिए हर व्यक्ति को उतना ही भोजन लेना चाहिए जितना वह खा सके क़्योंकि भोज का कोई भी व्यक्ति एक ही थाली में से कोई वस्तु ले तो थाली में पहले खाने वाले के लेने के बाद जो कुछ बचेगा , वह दूसरे व्यक्ति के लिए जो उसी में से लेना चाहता था , जूठन बन जाएगा और जूठन वर्जित है .

The duty of the heir towards the deceased in the first year consists in his giving sixteen banquets , where every guest in addition to his Duties of the heir towards the deceased food receives alms also , viz . on the fifteenth and sixteenth days after death ; further , once a month during the whole year . मृत वऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-यि> के प्रति वारिस के कर्तवऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-य मृत वऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-यि> की मृतऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-यु के बाद पहले वर्ष उसके वारिस का यह कर्तवऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-य है कि वह सोलह भोज दे ऋनमें हरेक अतिथि को भोजन के अलावा भिक्षा भी दी जाए अर्थात मृतऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-यु के पंद्रहवें और सोलहवें दिनL इसके अतिरिकऋ-ऊण्श्छ्ष्-त पूरे वर्ष मास में एक बार भोज दिया जाय .
