A Sessions Judge -LRB- or an Additional Ses-sions Judge -RRB- can award any sentence -LRB- imprisonment in-cluding life imprisonment as well as fine -RRB- authorised by law including the death sentence . सत्र न्यायाधीश ( अथवा अपर सत्र न्यायाधीश ) मृत्युदंड समेत विधि द्वारा प्राधिकृत कोई दंड ( आजीवन कारावास समेत कारावास तथा जुर्माना ) दे सकता है .

No taxes can be legally levied and no expenditure incurred from the public exchequer without specific parliamentary authorization by law -LRB- articles 114-116 and 265 -RRB- . विधि द्वारा विशिष्ट संसदीय प्राधिकरण के बिना कानूनी तौर पर न तो कोई कर लगाया जा सकता है और न ही कोई व्यय सरकारी खजाने से किया जा सकता है ( अनुच्छेद 114-116 तथा 265 ) .

Parliament may by law provide for the establishment of an administrative tribunal for the Union and a separate administrative tribunal for each State or for two or more States . संसद विधि द्वारा उपबंध कर सकती है कि संघ के लिए प्रशासनिक अधिकरण की और हर राज्य या दो या दो से अधिक राज्यों के लिए अलग से प्रशासनिक अधिकरण की स्थापना की जाए .

Salary and Allowances : Members of both the Houses are entitled to salaries and allowances as may be determined by Parliament by law from time to time -LRB- article 106 -RRB- . सदस्यों के वेतन तथा भत्ते : दोनों सदनों के सदस्य ऐसे वेतनों तथा भत्तों के हकदार होते हैं जिनका निर्धारण समय समय पर विधि द्वारा संसद स्वयं करती है ( अनुच्छेद 106 ) .

Parliament may , however establish by law a common High Court for two or more States or for two or more States and a Union territory -LRB- articles 214 and 231 -RRB- . लेकिन संसद विधि द्वारा दो या अधिक राज्यों के लिए या दो या अधिक राज्यों और किसी संघ राज्य क्षेत्र के लिए साझे उच्च न्यायालय की स्थापना कर सकती है ( अनुच्छेद 214 तथा 231 ) .

Under article 138 , the Supreme Court shall have such further jurisdiction and powers with respect to any of the matters in the Union List as Parliament may by law confer . अनुच्छेद 138 के अधीन , उच्चतम न्यायालय को संघ सूची के विषयों में से किसी के संबंध में ऐसी अतिरिक्त अधिकारिता और शक्तियां होंगी जिन्हें संसद विधि द्वारा प्रदान करे .

Clause 5 of article 19 however , provides for imposition of reasonable restrictions on the exercise of either of them by law . किंतु अनुच्छेद 19 के खंड ( 5 ) में जनसाधारण के हितों में या किसी अनुसूचित जनजाति के हितों की रक्षा के लिए विधि द्वारा उनमें से किसी के भी प्रयोग पर युक्तियुक्त प्रतिबंध लगाए जाने का उपबंध है .

Some of the entries in the Union List themselves empower Parliament to take over to itself , by making the requisite declaration by law , certain spheres and subjects from the State field . संघ सूची की कुछ प्रविष्टियों से भी संसद को शक़्ति प्रदान हो जाती है कि वह , विधि द्वारा अपेक्षित घोषणा करके , कुछ क्षेत्र और विषय राज़्य के क्षेत्र से अपने में ले ले .

Until Parliament by law provides otherwise , all proceedings in the Supreme Court and in every High Court are to be in English . उच्चतर न्यायालयों की तथा विधियों के प्राधिकृत पाठकों आदि की भाषा जब तक संसद विधि द्वारा अन्यथा उपबंध न करे , तब तक उच्चतम न्यायालय एवं उच्च न्यायालयों में सभी कार्यवाहियां अंग्रेजी भाषा में होंगी .
