Valluri points out that the aircraft still has to prove key parameters such as its manoeuvrability , rate of climb and acceleration and fears that by the time it is inducted it may be too costly for the IAF to buy and much of its technology dated . वे कहते हैं कि विमान को अभी भी महत्वपूर्ण पैमानों मसलन , आसान उड़न , ऊंचाई हासिल करने की गति आदि पर खरा उतरना है.उन्हें भय है कि बेड़े में शामिल होने तक यह विमान कहीं वायुसेना के लिए काफी महंगा और पुराना साबित न होने लगे .
