All reviews check that UK expectations are met; currently this is done by benchmarking the provision against QAA's Quality Code ( see below ), but at time of writing the Conservative government elected in 2015 has plans to develop a Teaching Excellence Framework which will play a role in the assessment of quality in higher education.

The authors of the review told me that they eventually became convinced that single blinding was sufficient, which is why they raised the scores of the studies in the published version of their review in JACM . I added the authors'comments regarding whether Jadad was an appropriate assessment of quality, and it was removed from the article.

In 2012 the Science and Technology Committee of the House of Lords, after considering the working of QAA, concluded that it was still not fit for purpose because its reviews were based on a'threshold level'of standards that'allowed no assessment of quality above that threshold'( paragraph 124 ) and that more needed to be done to improve quality ( paragraph 125 ).

Patients will usually be assessed using a combination of history taking, examination ( including pelvic examination and assessment of prolapse using validated systems such as the Pelvic Organ Prolapse Quantification [ POP-Q ] system ) and assessment of quality of life impact using validated questionnaires, including the assessment of sexual function using Pelvic Organ Prolapse / Incontinence Sexual Questionnaire IUGA-Revised [ PISQ-IR ].

SBFCC, however, refuted such claims of BOC and SGS representatives and pointed out that : firstly, there is no requirement for a confirmation of value, as there is no duty payable and goods are no longer allowed to enter the customs territory, even if duties were paid; secondly, there is no requirement by the importers for an inspection of quality and, in any case, there is no space provided on the inspection form for an assessment of quality; thirdly, there is little impact on local industry, as goods are not allowed to enter the Philippines customs territory and the goods being sold in duty free outlets are generally not offered in local-duty-free outlets.
