The palaces of the Rao of Jamnagar and the Raja of Chatarpur , the memorials to Maharaja Ranjit Singh in Lahore , Maharao Umid Singh in Kotah and Maharaja Bakhtawar Singh in Alwar , the Visheshwar Mandir in Banaras and the Golden Temple in Amritsar , are all examples of this . जामनगर के राव तथा छतरपूर के राजा के महल , लाहौर मे महाराजा रणजीत सिंह , कोटा में महाराजा उम्मीदसिंह और अलवर में महाराजा बख़्तावर सिंह के स्मारक , बनारस में विश्वेश्वर मंदिर तथा अमृतसर में स्वर्ण मंदिर सब इसके उदाहरण हैं .

Wrote the story of 1934 released Majadoor film and before completion of his year old contract leaving two month's salary behind escaped to Banaras because Bombay's(present Mumbai)and more than that the lifestyle of it's filmy world never suited him. १९३४ में प्रदर्शित मजदूर नामक फिल्म की कथा लिखी और कंट्रेक्ट की साल भर की अवधि पूरी किये बिना ही दो महीने का वेतन छोड़कर बनारस भाग आये क्योंकि बंबई (आधुनिक मुंबई) का और उससे भी ज़्यादा वहाँ की फिल्मी दुनिया का हवा-पानी उन्हें रास नहीं आया।

The mystical cult of theosophy represented by Annie Besant did not find much response in the Hindu community , but Mrs Besant 's personal services to Hinduism as the founder of the Central Hindu College -LRB- now Banaras Hindu University -RRB- and to the Indian freedom movement as the sponsor of the Home Rule League were of considerable value . एनीबेसेंट द्वारा चलायी गयी ब्रह्म विद्या की रहस्यमय उपासना को हिंदू समाज में अधिक स्थान नहीं मिला किंतु , सेंट्रल हिंदू कालेज के संस्थापक के रूप में ( अब बनारस हिंदु युनिवर्स्Lटी ) तथा भारतीय स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन में होल रूल लीग के प्रवर्तक के रूप में , श्रीमती एनीबेसेंट की हिंदुत्व के लिए व्यक़्तिगत सेवायें बहुत थी .
